The LeMieux Leather Dressage Girth delivers high performance in a sleek and sophisticated package. Made from soft, supple leather, the D-ring allows for the easy attachment of training aids, enhancing the product’s versatility. Not only does it prevent the saddle from slipping, but the shaping allows for comfort and freedom of the muscles. For your horse’s comfort, the ultra-soft leather construction absorbs pressure evenly across the surface area of the girth, making it an essential part of your dressage kit. As a bonus, the detachable Simuwool lining prevents the build-up of sweat and is easy to wash and quick to dry, breathable, cushioning and great for sensitive-skinned horses. Simuwool is our unique washable, quick-drying, and durable synthetic ‘wool’, fabricated with the look, breathability and bounce of natural fibres. Comes with two detachable linings: black girths with black and natural, brown girths with brown and natural.
Caring for LeMieux Simuwool
Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush.Machine wash at 30° on a cool/wool cycle or hand wash.Use wool wash liquid.Ensure all hook and loop is securely closed prior to washing.Straighten/flatten fabric after washing. Air dry. Never tumble dry.Avoid using strong fabric conditioners.
Warning: In rare cases dye from black wool items may leach giving a slight blue tint. Staining of grey horses’ coats can occur.

Cleaning and maintenance
Leaving your leather dirty, damp or drying it too quickly can cause stiffening and cracks.
